Nicholasville Rd Corridor Study Public Input

From LFUCG Planning Division:

Lexington transportation and land use planners want your help in imagining the Nicholasville Road of the future. We have launched a study of the road from downtown Lexington to Brannon Crossing just south of the Fayette-Jessamine County line.

The study, “Imagine Nicholasville Road,” will identify strategies to respond to growth and development along this important regional corridor, including opportunities for retail, commercial and residential development. It will also explore solutions to transportation and congestion issues that have come to define the corridor.

Community input is an important part of the planning process.
We invite you to attend our public open house on March 4 where we will share project information, answer questions and gather your feedback and ideas.

Can’t attend our meeting? You can share your thoughts and ideas with the “Imagine Nicholasville Road” team by participating in a survey that will be available online from Feb. 28-March 31 at www.ImagineNicholasvilleRoad.com. You can also sign up for email updates and submit comments directly to our team, at any time, through the project website.
