LEXGIVEBACK Week April 22-28

Dear Neighbors:
Please tell your neighbors that April 22-28 is LEXGIVEBACK week in Lexington sponsored by the Compassionate Lexington Campaign and organized as a project of Commerce Lexington’s Leadership Lexington program.  The Fayette County Neighborhood Council asks that you visit  to sign up either as a volunteer or as a volunteer organization in need of help.  A neighborhood service project would qualify as the work of a volunteer organization.
This is a great opportunity for people to do service work and would be excellent for teenagers looking for service projects.  It also will assist service organizations.
The website will be a permanent fixture after April 28 to link people with service opportunities.  This kind of activity will make Lexington Fayette County a better, more compassionate place to live.
