November 27, 2019

Dear Neighbors,

The Fayette County Neighborhood Council is writing to invite you and other leaders from your neighborhood to its Monday evening, December 9 General Meeting. Our special guest will be Mayor Linda Gorton and those members of the Urban County Council who are able to attend.

Where? Tates Creek Christian Church at the corner of Albany and Tates Creek Roads. Enter from Albany Road and park at the far back side of the church.
When? The meeting will be on Monday evening, December 9, at 7:00 p.m.
Who? You will have an opportunity to interact and meet with other neighborhood leaders, council members, and Mayor Linda Gorton.

Highlights: The Board of the FCNC has renamed its Neighborhood Hero Award after Emma Tibbs, the founder of the FCNC who passed away in January 2019. We will be awarding the first “Emma Tibbs Neighborhood Hero Award” at this meeting. Mayor Gorton will be speaking. The FCNC will provide light refreshments.

Please mark your calendar, invite others in your organization, and attend on December 9. This is an opportunity to meet and learn from others and celebrate and recognize the importance of neighborhoods.

Be there!
