10/10/22 General Membership Meeting/Candidates Forum

Fayette County Neighborhood Council
COUNCIL-AT-LARGE CANDIDATE FORUM
Monday October 10, 6:30 p.m.
Tates Creek Christian Church

Dear Neighbors,

Please plan on attending the next meeting of the Fayette County Neighborhood Council (FCNC) on Monday evening, October 10 featuring the six (6) candidates for Council-at-Large:

· James Brown
· Chuck Ellinger
· Bill Farmer
· Lillie Miller Johnson
· Richard Moloney
· Dan Wu

Council Members-at-Large represent you just like your individual District Council Member, and they are elected for four (4) years, and the candidate with the greatest number of votes is designated Vice Mayor. The FCNC forum will ask for answers to neighborhood questions. Some of the candidates should be available both before and after the forum to meet and talk with you.

Attendance at this in-person meeting is important to show candidates that neighborhoods care and vote. Please bring others with you if you can, especially your Neighborhood Association and HomeOwners Association board members.

The meeting will be at Tates Creek Christian Church, 3150 Tates Creek Road, and sign-in will start at 6:10 p.m. If entering from Albany Road, entrance to the meeting will be from the far back corner of the educational building. Look for signs to direct you. We intend to start the meeting at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Questions about the meeting can be directed to FCNC at fayetteneighborhoods@gmail.com.

I’m looking forward to seeing you there.

Walt Gaffield, President
Fayette County Neighborhood Council, Inc.
