In order to accommodate a higher number of participants, the Imagine Lexington team has decided to reschedule our “Continuing Education on The Placebuilder” workshop for citizens from September 17 to OCTOBER 1ST at 6pm. This meeting will be hosted in the 7th Floor Conference Room of the Phoenix Building (location subject to change depending on number of participants). The September 30th 10:30a workshop for applicants will not be moved, and will still take place at the same date/time and location (RSVP for the Sept. 30 meeting here).

As a reminder, these meetings are an effort by the Division of Planning to provide education opportunities for both citizens and applicants to learn a bit more about how the Placebuilder fits into our city’s development process. These meetings are a great chance if you and others from your neighborhood/organization have questions about how to use the Placebuilder as a tool in communicating with other stakeholders about changes to the area or the community as a whole.

Staying on trend with what we have been offering throughout 2019, we will also continue to meet directly with neighborhood, community, and professional groups by request. This can take the form of a staff presentation at a meeting/event or having a Planning staff member sit in on a meeting between neighbors and members of the development community.
