Dear Council Members:
Please plan on attending the December meeting of the Fayette County Neighborhood Council which will be on Monday evening, December 13 at Tates Creek Christian Church, 3150 Tates Creek Road, beginning at 6:30. Please enter from the back corner of the church furthest from the Albany Road entrance to the church.
Mayor Gorton will be attending, and the FCNC earlier asked that you try to hold the date. The meeting has three primary purposes. We will be reporting briefly on FCNC activities over the past year, we will be awarding the Emma Tibbs Neighborhood Hero Award, and we will be providing an opportunity for Council Members and the Mayor to talk with constituents.
The meeting space is large, and we will require masking and social distancing. Any refreshments will be individually wrapped, and the FCNC will provide drinking water. The agenda is relatively short, and we want an opportunity to congratulate our award winner.
I hope to see each of you next week. I appreciate your hard work under the difficulties and restrictions associated with the COVID 19 virus.
Walt Gaffield, President
Fayette County Neighborhood Council
