FCNC SPECIAL PROJECTS

On September 22, neighborhood leaders from all over Lexington-Fayette County attended an all-day workshop for neighborhood leaders. The workshop was held at the conference center of the Council of State Governments. Over continental breakfast and box lunches, participants had a chance to share problems, solutions and good ideas. During the program sessions, they also heard a variety of presentations of interest to individual citizens and to neighborhoods. A major beautification project called ‘Lexington Beautiful’ is being organized by the Fayette County Neighborhood Council. The goal of the project is to get thousands of flowers planted and established before the 2010 World Equestrian Games. [READ MORE...]
